Visiting Copper & Holly at Pontybat Farm

We're a little seasonal destination on our smallholding near Brecon in Mid Wales. 

Whether you're joining us for The Great Pumpkin Harvest, our Christmas Shop, an experience or one of our other seasonal openings, here's everything you need to find us and plan your visit.

Parking & Facilities

We have free hardcore parking and a compost toilet. 

The parking area is hardstanding rather than grass, which makes it rather more forgiving of the Mid Wales weather.

Accessibility

Please be aware that our shop does not currently have level wheelchair access. There are steps at the entrance. We will always do our best to help visitors where we safely can, but wheelchair users may require assistance getting into the shop.

If you have particular access requirements and would like to check something before travelling, please contact us before your visit.

Dogs at Copper & Holly

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome, but they must be kept under control so that we can protect our own animals, wildlife and other visitors.

And hopefully, this goes without saying, but please clean up after them too.

We're conveniently placed for a visit from Brecon, Hay-on-Wye, Builth Wells, Talgarth and the surrounding Mid Wales countryside.

Please don't rely on our postcode!

Several properties share our postcode and Sat Nav has a habit of confidently taking visitors to the wrong one.

Directions

From Brecon

Take the A470 towards Builth Wells. 

Around four miles outside Brecon you'll pass Felinfach, with The Griffin on your left. 

After passing the village junction, we're the next farmhouse on the left, around a mile further on. 

Slow down when you see the chimney pots, our driveway is just beyond the stone building beside the road. 

If you reach the crossroads, you've gone too far.

From Crickhowell

Take the A40 towards Brecon, turning towards Talgarth near Nant-y-Ffin. 

Travel through Tretower, Cwmdu and Pengenffordd and bypass Talgarth. 

At Bronllys follow signs towards Brecon. 

Continue along the straight and take the first right after the crossroads, beside the white stone barn.

From Hay On Wye

Follow the A438 towards Brecon through Glasbury and Three Cocks. 

At the Bronllys roundabout take the second exit towards Brecon, then the first exit at the following roundabout. 

Continue along the straight and take the first right after the crossroads, beside the white stone barn.

From Builth Wells

Take the A470 towards Brecon. 

At Llyswen, turn right beside The Griffin Inn to continue on the A470. 

Continue for approximately four miles to the crossroads and turn right. 

We're the first turning on the right, roughly 400 yards after the crossroads.
